UNDERTAKE PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMME FOR CREATION OF AWARENESS IN
COMMUNITY-

Preparation and free distribution of written
materials in simple Hindi, in the community through Government and
Non-government organizations.

of articles in print media.
· Distribution
and sale of publications from National Institutes, Apex Bodies,
Corporations and Trusts under the Ministry of Social Justice &
Empowerment.

ESTABLISH LINKAGES WITH EXISTING MEDICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT
SERVICES (FOR IDENTIFICATION, ASSESSMENT AND SERVICE PROVISION)

hospitals of region.

School-age identification and intervention programme
with Rajya Shiksha Kendra.

Identification and intervention camps with National
Institutes, ALIMCO etc.

TO ESTABLISH LINKAGE WITH DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION AND
NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANISATIONS FOLLOWING OF COMMUNITY BASED
REHABILITATION AND OFFER SERVICES IN RURAL AREAS

distribution (of aids and appliances) and training (of parents,
teachers as well as persons with disabilities) camps at various
locations

be played by various components of the community for functionaries
in government and non-government sector as well as social and
philanthropic organizations.

physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthotic and prosthetic, speech
& language therapy, Audiological, psychological and special
education intervention.
