The Centre received National Award for Barrier Free Environment for its PwDs (Divyangjan) friendly building in 2006.

Dr. Ganesh Joshi, AP (PMR/ME) received Dr. Anisya Vasanth Memorial Award for presentation on Autism at the National Conference of Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Patna in 2006. 

Mrs. Aruna Ravipati, (LPT) was awarded the Young Scientist Award by the Madhya Pradesh Science Congress in 2006. 

Mr. Rajesh Ramchandran, (Clinical Assistant in MR) was awarded the Gold Medal for best theme paper by the Madhya Pradesh Young Scientist Conference Committee in 2007. 

Dr. Ashutosh Pandit, AP (SE) was awarded the Fulbright Senior Research Grant to San Antonio, Texas (USA) for the year 2007 – 2008.

A Poster on "Emerging fields in Disability Rehabilitation - Diabetes Mellitus" prepared by Dr. Ganesh Joshi, AP (PMR/ME), Mrs. Aruna Ravipati (LPT), Mrs. Poonam Sachdev (LOT), Mr. Nityanand Samal (Faculty in P&O), Mr. Dharmendra Jha (Speech Pathologist & Audiologist), and Mr. Shyam Singh Mewada, (OMI) recieved the best poster Prize at the IAPMR National conference at Kolkata in 2009.
